A leading life insurance company in Pretoria is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to implement sales strategies and manage the sales team. The ideal candidate will have proven management experience and knowledge of the insurance industry. Responsibilities include performance management, client services, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role is pivotal for achieving sales goals and strengthening customer relations.
To recruit, maintain, develop sales representative and set targets within Cornerstone Regions.Plan and Implement Sales plan at Regional level Develop sales plan to attain set goals / targetsCommunicate the sales plan to sales teamsIdentify & agree on individual roles and responsibilitiesRecruit resources according to HR PlanPlan for infrastructure requirements – vehicles, offices, furniture, policy books, etcParticipate in Provincial budgeting processImplement & monitor company policies & proceduresManage sales staff performance monthlyEvaluate progress against goals monthlyPrepare monthly management reportExpense Budget Monitor expenses against budgetTrack deviation, investigate reasons & recommend corrective actionAssist with management of monitoring petty-cash requisitionsPrepare management report on deviationsDevelop & Sustain Customer & Stakeholder relations Intervene on customer queries & concernsUnderstand impact of stakeholder on regional businessDeploy the correct interactions and processesCommunication management Stakeholder analysis (who's who?)Knowledge of different marketsCompany themes / messageManage Regional Office, Administration & Client Services Manage regional sales force – recruitment, selection, training & development, performance management, etc.Visits to districts / sitesEnsure that branch offices project the required image of CornerstoneOversee the regional administrative activitiesLiaise with provincial administration on training needs & supportAssist with client services and oversee sales staff & officesFORMAL EDUCATIONMatricRelevant Qualification (recognised by the FSCA)?
