Sales Manager
Bioclin Solutions offers the opportunity to apply for a dynamic Sales Manager role within the business. A sales manager who is driven, result‑oriented, and highly motivated with established relationships within the industry would be the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of professional internal & external sales representatives to achieve business sales targets.
- Implement sales and marketing strategies to aid existing & future sales growth.
- Develop yearly, quarterly, and monthly holistic sales strategy for the business.
- Develop channel and regional strategies in line with the holistic business sales strategy.
- Develop new channels of sales within the business.
- Effectively deliver business reviews to key customers.
- Effectively manage sales expenses.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key opinion leaders and key customers within all channels.
- Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking.
- Analysis and reporting to the Directors regarding sales tracking.
- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of sales.
- Disseminate information to all sales staff effectively.
- Coach and develop a professional sales team.
- Develop a bi‑annually training plan for the sales team.
- Manage and create channel price files.
- Manage and create commercial aspects of the sales strategy (margin parameters, etc.).
- Provide quality leadership by creative improvements and inspiring others.
- Develop & grow the export channel within the business.
- Lead the sales team by ensuring individual targets are reached, managing performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring, and career development in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
- Measure team competence against job needs analysis and KPAs.
- Manage individual development with the performance management process.
Qualifications
- Appropriate tertiary qualification – medical related qualification required.
- Proficient in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Previous sales management experience will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a medical sales representative in surgical / capital equipment products.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Existing relationships with corporate hospital groups and industry wholesalers required at a head office level.
