Background

Tingo Life is a financial advisory business specialising in funeral aid schemes for companies, groups and individuals alike.We are looking for a Sales/Team Manager who can build their own team of advisers to take our products to market.

Role Description

This is a hybrid contract role for a Sales Manager based in Lynnwood, Pretoria, with some remote work flexibility. The Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, client relationship management, market research, and driving revenue growth for the company.

Requirements

• Proven skills in Sales, Negotiation, and Client Relationship Management
• Strong abilities in Market Research, Analysis, and Business Development
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust network or access to key individuals who can serve as advisers within this sector
• Demonstrated experience in Team Leadership and Sales Team Management
• Background in recruiting, developing, and overseeing high-performing sales teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication, along with confident presentation skills
• Self-driven, motivated with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to work both independently and effectively within a team environment
• A strong commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical business practices
• Prior experience in the financial services sector is advantageous

Remuneration

The remuneration package includes a combination of a basic salary, which tapers down over a six-month period, and a share of adviser commission that grows over time and provides a passive income stream.

This position is currently available, and the successful candidate will be able to start immediately.
