The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual with a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong customer relationships, as well as building and managing a team successfully with excellent time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and managing a sales team.
- Driving targets, strategies, and disciplines through the team.
- Developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans.
- Driving and achieving annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends.
- Achieving/exceeding monthly and annual sales targets as set in budgets.
- Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Business qualification advantageous.
- At least 5 years of proven industry sales experience (PABX / OA / Telco / Hardware / Connectivity).
- 3-4 years management experience.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels.
- Proven sales track record in the office automation / ICT industry.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from initiation to completion.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- Experience as a sales specialist developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mandatory).
- Must have a clear criminal record.
