Sales Manager (Pigments / Coatings / Plastics)

Location : Krugersdorp, Gauteng

Industry : Chemical (Pigments)| Experience : 5-10 years

About the Role

Our client, a leading global supplier of high-end pigments, offers a diverse portfolio that includes organic, inorganic, and effect pigments, performance colorants, pearlescent pigments, and specialty chemicals. They currently have an opportunity for a Sales Manager with proven management experience. Prior exposure to the chemical, coatings, or plastics industry will be an advantage. The position is based in Johannesburg, will be serving the SADC countries and immediate availability is preferable but not a pre-requisite.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Setting customer pricing points
• Margin management (Tracking and reporting)
• DOI management( Working capital control based on forecast and demand plan)
• SMOGS' tracking
• Customer visits and interaction
• Business Development- new project identification
• Setting sales budgets, monitoring and adjusting according to performance
• Managing Debtors
• Management of Distributors in SADC region
• Supporting in customer audits
• Cost control
• Volume tracking year on yearSetting and achieving % GP

What You’ll Need

• Tertiary qualification in Sales / Business / Economics / Chemistry / Chemical related
• 5-10 Years experience in Sales Management
• Own vehicle
• Strong communication, people management, and client-facing skills
• Pervious experience with SADC (Southern African Development Community) Countries required
• Previous pigments / colorants' experience not compulsory but will be an advantage
