We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead a busy Tyre & Fitment Centre in Eastern Cape
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth running of all departments.
- Manage and motivate staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Drive sales by implementing promotions, visiting corporate clients/fleet companies, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Analyse financial reports, manage budgets, control expenditure, and monitor stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality management, and operational policies.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolve queries, and ensure service excellence.
- Monitor, analyse, and act on sales/stock reports to achieve performance and profitability targets.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) essential; a post-matric qualification in retail/sales is advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience in the tyre retail/automotive industry.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and stock management.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- Computer literate (MS Office; experience with retail systems advantageous).
- Willing to work after hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Results-driven, professional, and customer-focused with high integrity.
