Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead a busy Tyre & Fitment Centre in Eastern Cape

Duties
  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth running of all departments.
  • Manage and motivate staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Drive sales by implementing promotions, visiting corporate clients/fleet companies, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Analyse financial reports, manage budgets, control expenditure, and monitor stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality management, and operational policies.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolve queries, and ensure service excellence.
  • Monitor, analyse, and act on sales/stock reports to achieve performance and profitability targets.
Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) essential; a post-matric qualification in retail/sales is advantageous.
  • Minimum 2 years’ management experience in the tyre retail/automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and stock management.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Computer literate (MS Office; experience with retail systems advantageous).
  • Willing to work after hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Results-driven, professional, and customer-focused with high integrity.
