Job Description :

As the Sales Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of the commercial strategy, leading client acquisition and partnership development. You’ll manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and ensuring smooth handovers to customer success teams.

Your work will directly influence market position, brand reputation, and overall business growth.

Your daily adventures include :

  • Developing and executing the sales and business development strategy across South Africa.
  • Identifying and engaging new B2B clients across sectors such as e-commerce, subscription, travel, gaming, and digital services.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with banks, payment processors, and enterprise clients.
  • Presenting and negotiating the company’s value proposition with confidence and precision.
  • Meeting and exceeding ambitious quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Operations) to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Representing the business at key industry events and conferences to strengthen visibility and credibility.
  • Delivering accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to leadership.
  • Supporting client onboarding and ensuring a seamless handover to account management teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships within fintech, payments, or SaaS.
  • A strong understanding of South Africa’s digital and financial landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
