Sales Executive (Outdoor Media) required in Johannesburg.

A well-established outdoor media company is seeking a mid to senior Sales Executive to manage key agency accounts while driving new business across the OOH market.

Location: Waterfall, Midrand (Office-Based when not at clients).

Salary: R20 000 – R45 000 CTC per month (Experience dependent) plus commission, cell allowance, and reimbursed business travel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 and sales/marketing training
  • 3 or more years of experience in outdoor media sales
  • Strong agency relationships
  • Proven OOH sales track record
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Excellent presentation ability
  • Strong negotiation and closing ability
  • Strong communication and written business English
  • Financial literacy
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • Ability to manage and existing accounts and new business development

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly sales targets in the outdoor media environment
  • Manage and grow existing agency and direct client relationships
  • Act as a trusted advisor and maintain high levels of service and responsiveness
  • Conduct research, cold call, secure meetings and identify new revenue opportunities
  • Present tailored media solutions based on client strategies
  • Attend briefs, events and PR functions with agencies
  • Manage campaign execution including client updates and flighting proof
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipelines and contract administration
  • Keep all sales trackers, calendars and documents up to date
  • Collaborate with internal teams on client payments and campaign delivery
  • Maintain strong industry, product and competitor knowledge
  • Scan the market for opportunities across formats, regions and client sectors
