Our client a well-established supplier of Aluminum and Building Materials in Langebaan are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive to Join their team. You will be responsible for closing deals and maintaining good customer relationships. A Sales representative must be an excellent communicator, negotiator and have superior skills to assist customers through every stage of their building project. They must be comfortable in cold calling on customers to present new products or services as well as dealing with complaints and issues.

Reports to: Group Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least two years experience in a similar position
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. Retail IQ software), telephone and email systems
  • Building material product knowledge
  • Know how to read a plan and do quantity estimations
  • Ability to learn about products and services and market them to prospects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
