Our client, KP Botanicals (Knysna), a leading South African producer of botanical extracts and natural actives, is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to help expand its international client base in the nutraceutical, cosmetic, and wellness sectors. KP Botanicals combine science, sustainability and South African botanical heritage to deliver high-quality, traceable, natural ingredients to partners across the globe.

The company has an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys bridging worlds of nature and science and who is ready to grow with a business built on purpose and innovation. The role will be primarily responsible for driving international sales growth through consultative engagement with existing and new clients, translating complex product and technical information into clear commercial value and contributing to positioning the company as a trusted global supplier of natural ingredients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for nutraceutical and cosmetic ingredients
  • Retain and grow key customer relationships across Europe, Asia and the Americas
  • Identify new market segments and contribute to the company’s commercial roadmap
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality and Production teams to align customer solutions
  • Represent the company at industry events and client visits (occasional international travel)
  • Provide timely forecasts, reports, and market insight to management
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets while adhering to the company’s sales budget and forecast

Requirements:

  • At least 2-5 years B2B sales experience in natural ingredients, cosmetics, or related industries
  • Qualification in commerce, natural sciences, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong technical curiosity and ability to engage in solution-oriented discussions
  • Skilled communicator with high emotional intelligence and cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Self-driven, organised, and comfortable in a fast-evolving, entrepreneurial setting
  • Proficient in English (Afrikaans advantageous)
  • Confident with reporting tools

A market-related remuneration package, in accordance with qualifications and experience, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
