Sales Executive - Luxury Hotel & Travel Trade Accounts

  • Location: Camps Bay, Cape Town
  • Salary: R20 000 - R30 000 per month

We are looking for a Trade Account Executive to connect with top-tier travel agencies, tour operators, event organisers, production teams, and other B2B partners to drive bookings, build relationships, and boost revenue.
What you will be doing:

  • Cultivating strong relationships with travel trade partners in the local and international market
  • Actively identifying new business opportunities across tourism, government, MICE, golf and wellness travel sectors
  • Representing the property at industry events, trade shows, networking evenings and fam trips
  • Conducting site inspections, presentations and regular in-person meetings with agents and decision-makers
  • Collaborating with marketing and reservations to deliver tailored packages and promotions
  • Reporting on your pipeline, partner activity, and conversion performance
  • Staying ahead of market trends and competitor offerings to keep us one step ahead

What you need to bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or business development, preferably in hospitality or tourism
  • A completed diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - your energy builds trust and drives deals
  • Strong admin and tech skills - especially in Microsoft Excel
  • A valid driver's license and your own roadworthy vehicle
  • Confidence navigating the hospitality landscape - bonus if you know Opera or have connections in wellness/golf tourism
