Role Overview

The Sales Engineer– Wastewater Treatment will be responsible for identifying opportunities, comprehending and addressing customer needs with effective waste water treatment solutions, promoting our wastewater solutions, building strong client relationships and meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities
Sales
  • Proactively identify potential clients and projects in various sector requiring water treatment solutions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients.
  • Driving Effluent Treatment Plant sales objectives.
  • Developing new strategies and fostering strong customer relationship within various industrial waste effluent treatment as advantage.
Technical Consultation
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our waste water treatment solutions to evaluate customers needs.
  • Advise clients on appropriate solutions to address their specific requirements.
  • Streamline the acceptance sampling at the client sites.
Sales Presentations
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to effectively communicate the value of our products and services.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are addressed.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue objectives.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs, presenting tailored solutions, and providing exceptional service.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts and sales agreements.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to clients.
Market Research and Collaboration
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the industrial water sector.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the technical and product development teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/Environmental Engineering or equivalent and sales/marketing related qualification preferable.
  • Minimum of 5 years, industry experience with a proven track record in new business sales.
  • Experience with identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering role, in wastewater treatment or a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes and technologies
