Position Information

A leading player in the mining and industrial filtration space is looking to appoint a Technical Sales Engineer to support and grow business across South Africa and selected African markets.

This role suits a technically strong sales professional who understands process filtration, enjoys working closely with mining clients and EPCM partners, and is comfortable operating in both local and cross-border environments.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Mining, or Industrial Engineering
  • 3–5 years’ technical sales experience in mining, heavy industry, or process environments
  • Hands‑on experience in filtration, particularly dust extraction / dry filtration
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally and into Africa
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • Strong commercial understanding (costings, margins, quotations)

  • Selling technical filtration solutions into mining and industrial clients
  • Managing and growing key accounts across local and export markets
  • Supporting customers with application advice, product selection, and proposals
  • Working with EPCMs, project houses, and end users on technical solutions
