Overview

Our Client who is in the Financial Services sector is looking for a driven Sales Director to lead teams and grow business in a competive market

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Finance Economics or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in sales with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within financial services or related industries
  • Proven track record in multi-line financial services sales including credit insurance bonding and investment products
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and business plans
  • In-depth understanding of the South African financial services market and regulatory landscape
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy across all business lines (credit insurance guarantees and bonding credit management platform debt collections top-up and gap cover and investment solutions)
  • Lead mentor and manage the Sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets for each business line
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities expanding the companys Client base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Clients industry Stakeholders and strategic Partners
  • Monitor market trends competitor activity and client needs to continuously refine sales approaches and product offerings
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Operations Underwriting and Product teams to ensure alignment and maximize commercial impact
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts performance reports and presentations for senior management
  • Drive a culture of accountability high performance and continuous improvement within the sales function
