Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within financial services or related industries
  • Proven track record in multi-line financial services sales, including credit insurance, bonding, and investment products
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and business plans
  • In-depth understanding of the South African financial services market and regulatory landscape
  • Proven track record in managing sales teams
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy across all business lines (credit insurance, guarantees and bonding, credit management platform, debt collections, top-up and gap cover, and investment solutions)
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets for each business line
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the companys Client base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Clients, industry Stakeholders, and strategic Partners
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to continuously refine sales approaches and product offerings
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, Underwriting, and Product teams to ensure alignment and maximize commercial impact
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and presentations for senior management
  • Drive a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement within the sales function
