Pioneer of Business Development & Sales Strategist (Remote)

The Mission: Spearhead Business Relaunch

We're looking for an exceptional Sales Strategist and Business Development Pioneer to relaunch a dormant franchise. This role isn't just about executing sales; it's about reviving a company from the ground up. After sitting dormant for four years, we need a driven self-starter to be the engine of our renewal and growth. You will not only handle prospecting and lead generation but will be a strategic partner who guides the Founder on exactly what actions and resources are needed to succeed. Your ultimate goal is to generate savings for clients by connecting them with our cost-saving vendor network.

Role Overview & Strategy: This is an advanced Sales Development role focused on prospecting, research, and setting highly qualified appointments. The consultancy specializes in connecting businesses with vendors that offer significant cost savings across various operational areas (e.g., insurance, maintenance, IT). We act as a middleman, helping clients save money and earning a fee when they sign up with one of our partners. Your success will be measured by successful appointment setting, which leads to clients being connected with vendors who can offer cost savings. The Founder will work closely with you, providing guidance on lead generation and training you on our services and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Revival & Strategy: Take primary ownership of the company's sales pipeline from scratch. Guide the Founder on best practices, tools, and necessary strategic moves to accelerate growth.
  • Deep Prospecting & Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify and qualify target clients who could benefit from business cost savings.
  • High-Impact Outreach: Execute targeted outreach—primarily through calls—to generate new business and secure appointments.
  • Appointment Setting (Core Metric): Consistently meet or exceed targets for setting qualified sales appointments. This is the primary measure of your success.
  • Knowledge Broker: Understand the core value proposition of our cost-saving model and know where to access detailed information on our various vendor specializations to successfully open a conversation. You don't need to be an expert in every field, just an expert at connecting clients to the right savings solution.
  • Collaboration & Training: Engage in regular, mandatory training sessions (3-4 calls per week) with the Founder to align on strategy, vendor updates, and pipeline progress.

Compensation & Logistics

Base Salary Lucrative and based on experience. Commission Starting with a fixed fee per successful appointment, with plans to transition to a performance-based percentage commission model. Location Remote (South Africa preferred). Schedule Full-Time (40 hours/week), generally Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST (aligned with US time zones).
