Blacksmith Agency seeks Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression for potential clients.

This role focuses on thoughtful outreach using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to meet volume goals while maintaining high-quality touchpoints.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS experience a plus).
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.

About The Role

As Sales Development Representative at Blacksmith, you own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This is not about spamming a list. It is thoughtful outreach, pattern recognition and smart communication, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping every touchpoint high quality.
