A leading technology firm is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their dynamic sales team. You will engage with small business customers, utilizing Hubspot and cold calls to generate sales opportunities. Candidates should have 1-2 years of sales experience, particularly in outbound calls, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. This role offers a competitive salary of R13,000.00 plus commission, with an OTE of around R24,000.00 per month, and a chance to contribute to the success of small businesses.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Utilize Hubspot (CRM), cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Connect with potential customers through a variety of inputs (phone, chats, email). You'll be talking to small business customers in a variety of industries, so every day will be different.
  • Get stuck into the needs and problems a prospect faces in running their business and identify how we can help them.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
  • Work with the Sales team to provide the best customer experience and exposure to our products.
  • Communicate with multiple departments to ensure feedback is communicated around initiatives, products, and campaigns.
  • Track key information in our CRM for follow-up and analytics.
  • Continue to work on their skills through continuous feedback from other team members and leaders.
Requirements
  • Have 1-2 years' experience in a sales role (SaaS experience a bonus)
  • Experience with outbound sales calls
  • Love to find ways to make technology understandable and relatable.
  • Highly organized and have great attention to detail - Time management will be critical to your success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as you'll be chatting with customers and trialists all day via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Have a creative streak and love finding new ways to connect with customers.
Benefits

Salary: R13,000.00 + Commission and incentives based on performance (meetings booked). OTE of around R24,000.00 per month ( negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package ).
