At Deel Local Payroll, our Referral and Integration Partners are critical to expanding our reach and delivering value to customers.
ThePartner Development Managerwill own the growth, enablement, and success of these partners, ensuring strong collaboration, consistent referral activity, and seamless integrations with the PaySpace platform.
You’ll engage with prospective and existing partners across Africa and the UAE via email, phone, and web channels, and driving sales from new and existing referral partners.

Drive lead generation by managing, developing, and growing Referral and Integration Partners.
Identify opportunities to expand partner networks by growing the integration partner portfolio and generating new business for the sales team.
Attend and represent Deel Local Payroll at partner events with the goal of lead generation and sourcing new Referral and Integration Partners.
Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders in partner accounts.
Collaborate closely with referral partners to maximize referrals through their customer base.
Actively participate in partner initiatives such as webinars and product awareness campaigns to strengthen collaboration and drive business growth.
Provide ongoing support and communication to partners referring customers including ongoing feedback on status of referrals and monitoring of commission payouts.
Provide ongoing support and communication to partners that plan to or integrate to Deel Local Payroll including qualifying suitability and fit of integration partner to our ecosystem and facilitating technical sessions with the relevant internal stakeholders and partners.
Assist with onboarding, partner registration, and training guidance.
Providing full enablement activities to integration partners including onboarding relevant detail on DLP Integration Partner webpage.
Respond to and resolve technical queries or escalations from integration partners.
Educate partners on available resources to enhance their effectiveness.
Promoting referral and integration partner services and solutions to our existing customer base and enabling rapid resolution on customer queries relating to partner contact.
Monitor colleague-generated referrals to partners, oversee their status, and verify accurate incentive values for payroll processing.
Partner with the Sales team to highlight complementary partner offerings, uncover synergies and arrange partner showcases.
Ensure that partner offering details remain current and up-to-date.
Work with Marketing to prepare for partner-related campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives.
Collaborate with the Head of Sales and Partner Manager to design and implement new partner strategies.
Identify referral or integration partners with the potential to transition into Strategic Referral partners and engage them in discussions to support this progression.
Support brand awareness efforts for Deel Local Payroll and PaySpace within the partner ecosystem.
Manage the creation of enablement resources (e.g., FAQs, processes, training videos) for partners and internal colleagues.
Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM and PRM systems for all partner interactions (calls, emails, meetings, events).
Manage and update referral partner modules in the CRM system.
Manage and update referral partner module in the PRM system and collaborate with Internal Systems team to ensure that all relevant systems are syncing optimally and driving operational efficiency.
Run CRM reports to monitor opportunity status and confirm that each lead is actioned.
Ensure all partner-facing resources and sales enablement content are kept current within the PRM system.
Verify that all referral and integration partners have an active bilateral referral agreement in place, or documented written confirmation from the partner where a formal agreement is not signed.
Respond promptly to partner enquiries and inbound enablement calls.
Administer the end-to-end commission process for referral and integration partners, leveraging PaySpace, CRM / PRM platforms, and advanced spreadsheet functionality.

Partner compliance rate with lead submission process (measured via PRM or link data capture)
Drive commission incentives accuracy per quarter
3–6 years' experience in partner management, business development, or channel / alliances roles.
Proven track record in referral programs, integration partnerships, or SaaS ecosystems.
Previous experience in payroll, sales, consulting, or processing is an advantage.
Strong computer literacy and ability to work across multiple systems.
Intermediate Excel skills, with comfort building reports or analysing basic data sets.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Familiarity with lead generation tools, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and internal workflow platforms is a plus.
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple partner accounts simultaneously.
