Location: Observatory, Cape Town

Title: Sales Development Representative

Level: Associate

Type: Full-Time (Hybrid)

Working Hours: 1:00pm – 10:00pm (SA Time)

Training Period: The first 3 months will be full-time (8am till 5pm) in the office for training and onboarding.

Position Overview

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone with 2 years of experience who is ready to bring their expertise to a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will have the chance to make a meaningful impact by connecting businesses with the Legal and IT solutions they need to succeed.

  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written – Near Native Level English.
  • You can communicate in a clear, goal-oriented way that leaves no room for interpretation.

  • Booking outbound meetings through cold calling.
  • Also generating outbound meetings through a multi‑channel approach of emails, social selling, networking, and independent research.
  • Establishing genuine relationships with key stakeholders across the business and externally with our different clients.
  • Engaging with a range of prospects, including C‑suite/Directors, from all sorts of different organizations ranging from Blue Chip to the Public Sector.
  • Lead discovery conversations with prospects on behalf of our clients to unearth challenges and an understanding of digital roadmaps for the coming year.

Key responsibilities of a corporate sales representative might include

Prospecting and lead generation: Identifying potential clients within target industries and generating qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and market research.

Relationship building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts at client companies, understanding their business challenges and goals.

Needs analysis: Conducting in-depth consultations to assess client needs and identify opportunities to match their requirements with the company’s products or services.

Solution selling: Presenting customized proposals and demonstrating how the company’s offerings can address specific client pain points and deliver value.

Account management: Maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients, managing renewals, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling.

Market knowledge: Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to effectively position the company’s offerings.

Must be flexible to work in US hours.
