Sales Development Representative (SDR) – USA Tech Startup (Remote, South Africa)

We're hiring experienced SDRs to join a fast‑growing U.S.‑based tech startup that is expanding its global sales team. If you're a motivated Sales Development Representative with a proven record booking calls, building pipeline, and reaching quotas in U.S. markets, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Generate qualified meetings through multi‑channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls)
  • Build and maintain strong top‑of‑funnel pipeline
  • Work closely with Account Executives to develop outbound strategies
  • Use CRM and sales‑engagement tools to execute structured daily outreach
  • Identify, research, and target ideal customer profiles (ICP)
  • Represent the brand professionally during calls and written communications
  • Perform consistent follow‑ups to convert cold leads into sales‑ready opportunities
Key KPIs (What Success Looks Like)
  • Outbound calls per day
  • High‑quality multi‑touch emails per day
  • LinkedIn actions per week (connection requests, messages, comments)
  • Qualified meetings booked per month (depending on ICP & product)
  • 80%+ show rate on booked meetings
  • Consistent weekly pipeline generation targets
Minimum Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in sales or business development
  • Experience working with U.S. clients or markets
  • Previous SaaS sales experience (SDR, BDR, or AE function)
  • Demonstrated outbound prospecting skills
  • Ability to execute multi‑touch outreach sequences across email, LinkedIn, and phone
  • Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Comfortable working in a KPI‑driven environment
  • Laptop, stable Wi‑Fi, and a quiet working environment
Assessments Required
