Sales Development Representative

This role sits within GOTO Group SA, providing dedicated sales and business development support to one of our key UK‑based client partners.

The Sales Development Representative plays a crucial role in generating new business opportunities through proactive outbound engagement, lead qualification, and fostering client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage potential clients through outbound calls, emails, and social channels
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to identify opportunities for our partners
  • Maintain a high daily call and outreach volume, ensuring consistent contact activity and follow‑ups
  • Build rapport and book qualified meetings for client sales executives
  • Use CRM tools to accurately record activity, update lead statuses, and manage pipelines
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to refine messaging and improve conversion rates
  • Nurture cold and warm leads through effective follow‑up sequences
  • Handle objections confidently, positioning value and benefits to drive interest
  • Stay up to date on client products, services, and value propositions to ensure effective communication
  • Track performance against daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
  • Celebrate success and keep raising the bar
Key Skills
  • Proven experience in high‑volume outbound sales or telesales (minimum 3 years)
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary & Benefits

Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience, up to R25,000 per month. Basic pay plus uncapped commission, transport allowance, and post‑probation benefits.
