Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers while representing Blacksmith to potential clients.

You will use tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo, and Salesforce to manage outreach, build targeted contact lists, and maintain opportunities. A strong written voice and proactive, coachable attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar sales role.
• Excellent written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools and prospecting patterns.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
