  • COMPANY DESCRIPTION : Our client within the Retail sector is looking for a Temporary Sales Consultant to join their team.

This position is based in Midrand and will report to the Group Sales Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE : The Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience at the cellular kiosk, driving sales of Vodacom products, Easy2Own devices, and SIM cards, and ensuring accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting.

MAIN DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES :

Greeting all customers to enter the kiosk and provide friendly, professional assistance.

Deliver excellent customer service, understanding and addressing customer needs.

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Vodacom prepaid deals, promotions, and the Easy2Own platform.

Assist customers with the RICA process, ensuring all legal requirements are completed accurately.

Guide customers through the Easy2Own device purchasing process, including setup and activation.

Provide after-sales support, addressing customer queries and resolving issues efficiently.

Maintain organized repair logs, communicate with customers about repair progress, and follow up as required.

Process transactions accurately using cash, credit / debit cards, and other payment methods.

Meet and exceed individual sales targets for SIM cards, devices, and accessory sales.

Submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, including details of all transactions, activations, and customer interactions.

Ensure the kiosk is clean, organized, and fully always stocked.

Stay updated on new products, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED : Previous retail or cellular sales experience is an advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customers efficiently.

Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Tech-savvy, with the ability to navigate sales platforms and POS systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
