Overview

Join Edge Fitness Clubs SA as a Sales Consultant. Drive membership sales through outbound lead generation, customer relationship building, and collaboration with marketing and fitness departments. Availability to work weekends and late hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly activity targets for individual and team performance.
• Sell all types and categories of memberships based on customer needs.
• Plan daily activities to maximize results and manage personal sales time effectively.
• Build and maintain rapport with key customers and identify new opportunities.
• Analyze the market and use data to penetrate the market effectively; understand sales budgets.
• Handle customer relationships across diverse demographics and ensure a customer-centric approach.
• Coordinate with marketing and other departments (especially fitness) to integrate the selling process with the customer experience.
• Monitor and track personal sales results and activity levels using the correct procedures and systems.
• Attend promotions and marketing activities as required.
• Ensure timely completion of membership paperwork and liaise with Administration to adhere to procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years outbound sales experience.
• Passion for health and fitness; able to look the part and understand the service.
• Excellent telephone, communication and listening skills; excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Customer-centric with strong relationship-building abilities across all customer demographics.
• Ability to analyze the market and use data to support sales efforts; financially astute with an understanding of sales budgets.
• Ability to adhere to company systems and processes.
• Proven track record of consistent sales performance (e.g., 6-month consecutive sales success).
