Role Overview
About the Client : This Client owns an established cleaning business operating in a small market in Utah. The company receives crucial leads through email forms and phone calls. The Owner requires a dedicated professional to immediately capture and close every lead received. The Owner prioritizes delegation and efficiency, and is seeking a highly professional, independent VA to ensure the business capitalizes on every single opportunity and stops potential revenue loss.
About the Role : We are seeking a Full-Time Sales Closer VA to serve as the critical point-of-contact for all customer interactions. This is a primary sales and closing role that demands a highly professional and self-motivated individual. The core mission is to maximize lead conversion in a low-volume market, ensuring the business capitalizes on every single opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Lead Conversion (Core Function)
- Closing Sales: Serve as the primary salesperson, responsible for closing cleaning service sales over the phone and via email.
- Inbound / Outbound Management: Handle both inbound phone calls and email leads (rapid response required) and execute the outbound follow-up process to nurture leads.
- Must achieve a conversion rate over 40% (currently tracked in the company scorecard).
- Objection Handling: Confidently deal with pricing, scheduling, and service objections, effectively explaining the brand's unique value proposition.
- CRM & Reporting: Manage all lead activity within the company's CRM (Jobber pref) and provide clear reports on conversion metrics.
- Service Scope Vetting: Rigorously qualify all incoming leads to determine if their requested needs fall within the company's specific service offerings (e.g., specialized services outside of standard cleaning).
- Quote Efficiency: Provide necessary service information upfront so clients understand the limitations of the offering, maximizing the efficiency of every quote sent.
2. Administrative & Team Support
- Cleaners Support: Provide administrative support to the field team (cleaners) by handling their inquiries regarding client promises or cleaning specifications.
- Lead Management Admin: Handle administrative tasks related to lead tracking, management, and pipeline organization.
- Cleaner / Client Journey Follow-Up: Act as the primary operational liaison between the field cleaners and the client. This involves a crucial follow-up process after the client's first cleaning service to gather essential notes, instructions, or feedback that may differ from the initial quote. This ensures the recurring service schedule meets the client's specific needs and supports long-term customer retention.
- The VA needs to handle calls from cleaners regarding job-specific nuances (policy issues).
Qualifications & Skills
Sales and Cultural Expertise
- Sales Closing Experience: Proven, verifiable experience as a closer or sales manager, not just a basic call center agent. The VA must understand processes and automations.
- English Fluency & Accent: Excellent English fluency is mandatory. The VA must have minimal to no accent to build rapport effectively and ensure clients do not hang up or feel uncomfortable.
- Cultural Alignment: Strong U.S. cultural alignment is required to understand market nuances and avoid sounding like they are "reading from a script."
- Strategic Thinking: Must be a sharp, fast thinker who can work autonomously and take initiative, without requiring constant supervision (no babysitting).
- Team Leadership (Advantage): Experience managing or overseeing a sales team is a significant plus, as the client may expand the team in the future (e.g., hiring a cold caller).
