Our client in the FMCG Industry is currently looking to employ a Sales Area Manager, based in George.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
- A three-year diploma or degree in Sales and Marketing is preferred.
- A minimum qualification of NQF Level 5 in Sales and Marketing is required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a focus on proactive customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-discipline and timely delivery of operational and administrative sales objectives.
- Sound financial and numerical skills with proven budgeting ability.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities with a deadline-driven approach.
- A valid and unendorsed driver’s license is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales within the customer base to achieve set budgets.
- Develop measurable goals to successfully execute the budget plan.
- Organise personal strategy to maximise ROI for the assigned database.
- Collaborate with the supervisor to review strategic planning and finalise key deals.
- Proactively manage all planning and preparation activities to ensure smooth execution of sales campaigns and operational tasks.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly sales tracking using Qliksense.
- Manage sample and free stock budgets effectively.
