Overview

Our client is seeking a Sales and Service Technician Apprentice to join their team, based in George (Western Cape).

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric
  • Diploma in Business Management
  • Qualified Verification Officer
  • 1-5 Years' work experience in FMCG environment
  • Knowledge in Retail scales and weights and measures
  • Valid driver's license
  • MS Office 365, SLP, various POS software, basic computer skills
  • Sales, customer relations and goal-orientated skills
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Team player
Duties
  • Comply with the law and company\'s policies and procedures
  • Willing to work overtime from time to time
  • Update relevant policies and procedures
  • Sales of product offering, including scales, automatic wrapping machines, printers, software, spares and consumables
  • Marketing company\'s products and services, including cold calling, visiting new customers and give demonstrations
  • Maintain existing customer relations
  • Provide services to customers, including installations, verifications, servicing, repairs, deliveries and customer training on all company products
  • Assist with helpdesk support
  • Assist with stock counts
  • Assist with office administration
  • Assist with debt collection, including cash collections and cash deposits
  • Will be required to work standby weekends on a rotation basis
