Herotel Telecoms (Pty) Ltd in Mahikeng, North West, seeks a Sales & Activations Agent to generate leads, run activations and close deals to hit a monthly revenue target.

The role requires a sales mindset, community engagement, and ownership of each deal from first contact to signed agreement. You will travel locally, manage activations, and report on progress weekly.

Formación

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license.
• 25 years in a sales role, marketing or brand activation an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close sales independently.
• Willingness to travel within your project area, including weekends.
• Fluency in English and local languages.
• Strong problem solving, time management and communication skills.
• Team player coordinating activations and brief Ambassadors effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Carry full accountability for a monthly revenue target.
• Generate and qualify leads through direct outreach, door to door canvassing, community engagement and activations.
• Own every lead from first contact to activation and signed agreement.
• Convert interest into signed agreements at activations and events.
• Identify competitor switch opportunities and new residential demand in your area.
• Brief Ambassadors and coordinate their activity to the commercial plan.
• Report weekly on revenue and pipeline status to Area Sales Manager.
• Build and execute a local lead generation and marketing plan for the area.
• Maintain CRM records of all leads and sales activity daily.
• Provide market intelligence on competitor activity and pricing.
• Deliver complete handover of new subscribers to installation/after sales teams.

Are you a driven, target focused salesperson who thrives on turning conversations into closed deals? Join our Commercial team as a Sales & Activations Agent in Mahikeng, North West, where you'll generate leads, run activations and close sales to hit a monthly revenue target.

This role is perfect for someone who identifies as a salesperson first, who enjoys community engagement and events, and who takes full ownership of a deal from first contact through to signed agreement.

What you'll do:

• Carry and take full accountability for a monthly revenue target
• Generate and qualify leads through direct outreach, door to door canvassing, community engagement, referrals and activations
• Own every lead through to activation, from first contact to signed agreement
• Convert interest into signed agreements at activations and events on the day wherever possible
• Identify competitor switch opportunities, business prospects and uncovered residential demand in your area
• Brief and coordinate Ambassadors where active, aligning their activity to the area commercial plan
• Report weekly to the Area Sales Manager on revenue generated and pipeline status
• Build and execute a local lead generation and marketing plan for your assigned area
• Keep CRM records of all leads, interactions and sales activity complete and current daily
• Provide reliable market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing and customer sentiment
• Deliver a complete, quality handover of new subscribers to the installation and after sales teams
• Represent Herotel professionally in your assigned area, reflecting our values in every interaction

What you'll need:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• A valid driver's licence
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a sales role, with marketing or brand activation experience an advantage
• Sales or a relevant qualification is advantageous
• A demonstrated ability to generate leads and close sales independently
• Comfort working to a daily and monthly revenue target with full accountability for the number
• Ability to plan and run activations and events with a sales first mindset
• Willingness and ability to travel within your project area, including weekends
• Fluency in English and the relevant local language(s) of your area
• Strong problem solving, time management and communication skills
• Team player able to coordinate people at activations and brief Ambassadors effectively
