The Role

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Actively sell beautiful and interesting furniture products manufactured by the client.
• Be based in the factory showroom in Knysna to attend to "walk-in" customers.
• Build relationships with industry professionals to market the company and its products.
• Spend time on the road, actively looking for new customers and sales leads.
• Service existing clients as well as bring in new customers.
• Travel away from Knysna to secure sales.

Skills and Experience

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years' experience in sales.
• Sales experience in the furniture industry would be advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Social media: knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Must have a driving license and at least 5 years of driving experience.
• Well-presented with a good understanding of English and Afrikaans and an excellent telephone manner.
• Due to travel away from Knysna, the employee must have a relevant home support network for short periods away.
• Remuneration on offer is a basic salary plus commission on sales; sales targets will be set and reviewed regularly.

The position is a full-time role and is available immediately.
