SALES ADVISER
CAPE TOWN/JOHANNESBURG

The Santam Direct Call Centre is currently recruiting Sales Adviser(s) to join our talent pool for future vacancies within the team. Successful candidates will be considered for upcoming opportunities in Cape Town and Johannesburg as they arise.

The successful candidates will offer world class products and services to clients by identifying client needs and recommending tailored insurance solutions to meet the specific customer requirements, whilst achieving sales targets in a call centre environment.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE?
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales target, contributing to the overall success of the Direct Sales team.
  • Adherence to Quality Assurance processes (Compliance with all relevant internal and external rules e.g. TCF, CPA and internal Sales processes).
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls.
  • Ensure high standards of Customer Service, specifically responding timeously to client callback requests.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strict adherence to workforce scheduling.
  • Effectively managing their productivity, which means attending to all leads available with the intention of quoting and ultimately making a sale.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience in Short-Term Insurance.
  • A valid Regulatory Exam Certificate and Short-Term Insurance FAIS credits.
  • Experience in personal and/or commercial products

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
  • There will be a probationary period of three (3) months, which consists of the following two phases:
  • There will be a six (6) week training period after which your knowledge will be assessed; and
  • On the job evaluation phase during with progress will be measured against your ongoing ability to meet s set target.
