A training and placement agency is offering an opportunity to join their SAIPA and SAICA trainee programmes in Pretoria, South Africa. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (SUMMARY)

The SAIPA and SAICA trainee programmes each span three years and require candidates to achieve prescribed outcomes. SAIPA focuses on financial and management accounting, taxation, and advisory skills, while SAICA is more audit and assurance orientated, with emphasis on financial reporting, governance, and risk. Both programmes ensure trainees gain the competencies needed to qualify as a Professional Accountant (SA) or a Chartered Accountant (SA).

REQUIREMENTS

• Professional Qualification: Clear career path to qualify as PA(SA) (SAIPA) or CA(SA) (SAICA)
• Experience: No work experience required.
• Education:
  • SAIPA: Accounting or finance degree completed or completing before end 2025 at a SAIPA recognised university.
  • SAICA: Accounting / Auditing degree completed or completing before end 2025 at a SAICA recognised university, preferably currently busy with PGDA.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Transport: Must have own reliable vehicle (for occasional client visits).
• Languages: Prefer Afrikaans home language (clients and company culture).
• Other Requirements: Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate leadership qualities.

SALARY BRACKET

• R15 000 CTC p / m (SAIPA)
• R18000 - R20000 CTC p / m (SAICA - depending on academic level)
