Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting / Finance is mandatory.
• Computer literate with strong Excel skills required.
• Previous accounting practice experience is advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Preparation of annual financial statements for various business entities (companies, close corporations, trusts, and sole proprietors).
• Performing independent reviews and compilations.
• Assisting with the calculation and submission of personal and corporate income tax. VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns. Preparation of management accounts and financial reports. Client liaison and providing sound financial advice.
• Working with leading accounting software.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Accounting / Finance
• Computer literate with strong Excel skills
• Previous accounting practice experience (advantageous) with exposure to :
• Pastel Partner and Pastel Payroll SARS e-filing Draftworx Audit work
