SAIPA Article Clerk – Potchefstroom Area

(CIMA and TAX candidates will also be considered)

Salary :
  • R8000 - R10000 per month with Degree + Commission
  • Up to R13000 per month with Honours + Commission

To start in January 2026.

POSITION INFO :
Minimum requirements :
  • Completed Matric with a strong interest in pursuing an accounting / tax career; OR
  • 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year Accounting / Tax / CIMA students; OR
  • Graduates (Degree / Honours) looking to continue / transfer their articles; OR
  • Candidates with Tax Honours or those planning to specialise in Tax and complete their Honours in the future - would be an advantage but not a must
Duties will include but is not limited to :
  • Capture transactions in accounting records
  • Perform reconciliations
  • Perform bookkeeping to balance sheet
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Perform tax calculations and complete tax returns
  • Complete VAT submissions and calculations
  • Perform general accounting functions
  • Assist managers with various client matters, including administrative work
  • Payroll duties
  • PAYE calculations and submissions
  • CIPC registrations, queries, and submission
