Job summary

SNG GrantThornton in Rustenburg is launching a SAICA-accredited Trainee Accountant Graduate Programme starting February 2027. Successful candidates will complete a 36-month training contract to develop SAICA competencies and register as Chartered Accountants while gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial sectors.

You will participate in audits, perform testing, prepare working papers, financial statements, and reports, and work with clients and diverse teams to deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications

• SAICA-recognised Honours/PGDA/CTA or equivalent qualification required.
• Strong technical ability with attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Effective communication and client-relations aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements by assisting planning, execution, and finalisation.
• Perform substantive testing, analytical reviews, and control testing.
• Prepare audit working papers, financial statements, and reports per SAICA standards.
• Build and maintain professional client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
• Contribute to diverse audit teams with sound professional judgement.
