Job summary

A leading health and safety training provider in South Africa is seeking an experienced training facilitator. The role involves delivering high-quality occupational health and safety training aligned with industry standards. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of HSE training experience, a SAMTRAC or Diploma in Safety Management, and is fluent in English. This position requires a driver's licence and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years HSE training experience.
• Minimum 5 years industry experience in SHEQ.
• Experience with SAQA / SETA / QCTO / NOSA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan training sessions.
• Deliver training using appropriate methods tailored to learners.
• Facilitate training in line with regulatory standards.
• Assess and moderate learners according to codes of conduct.
• Provide feedback and complete Portfolios of Evidence.

Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality occupational health and safety training aligned with NOSA, SAQA, SETA, and QCTO standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan training sessions, ensuring materials and equipment are ready and functional.
• Deliver training using appropriate methods tailored to learners' skills, language, and cultural backgrounds.
• Facilitate training in line with SAQA / SETA / QCTO / NOSA and SafetyCloud's Quality Management Systems.
• Assess and moderate learners according to SETA / QCTO / NOSA codes of conduct.
• Provide confidential feedback and complete Portfolios of Evidence per assessment guides.
• Ensure security and confidentiality of learner documentation.
• Promote SafetyCloud by responding to client queries and identifying marketing opportunities during training.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with SafetyCloud products and SHEQ best practices.
• Take personal responsibility for assessor duties and compliance.

Qualifications

• SAMTRAC or Diploma in Safety Management.
• Registered Assessor and Moderator (SETA / QCTO).

Certificates (advantageous)

• Train the Trainer certification.
• ISO certifications.

Experience
