Job summary

Qualifications

• COMSOC 1 & 2 / SAMTRAC / Relevant qualifications.
• At least 5 years of Health and Safety experience on an opencast Mine.
• Experience in beneficiation plant and conveyors.
• Environmental and blasting experience.
• Load and haul experience.

Responsibilities

• Overall coordination of mine’s occupational Health and Safety.
• Ensure legal appointments are up to date.
• Conduct PTO’s and safety inspections.
• Coordinate SHE meetings and risk assessments.
• Ensure training on SOPs is conducted.
• Maintain safety equipment and inspect machinery.
