A leading staffing agency in South Africa is seeking a candidate for SHE Administration within the mining industry. The role includes maintaining SHE documentation systems, providing administrative and customer relations support, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The ideal candidate has a Matric certificate and an Administration Certificate with at least 2 years of experience in SHE Administration. The position is contract-based for 4 months with a salary of R21,000 per month.
This role is focused on SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) Administration within a mining environment. The job ensures documentation compliance, customer relations, and stakeholder management aligned with SHE standards and legal requirements. Purpose of the Job: Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the mine's SHE plan. Maintain an effective document management system.
Minimum: Matric (High School) + Administration Certificate (e.g., Comsoc, Samtrac, Risk Management). Preferred: Any Safety-related system management certificate.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge: 2+ years in SHE Administration. Experience with ISO standards, knowledge of mining-related SHE systems. Strong understanding of relevant legislation: Mine Health & Safety Act, National Environmental Management Act. Mining industry experience is advantageous.
Contract: 4 months
Salary: R21,000 per month
Location: Kathu, Northern Cape, South Africa (Various Locations in South Africa).
