Overview

ENVIRONMENT: A confident and relationship-driven sales professional is sought by a leading FinTech company to fill the role of its next SaaS Sales Executive. You’ll be responsible for developing new relationships, understanding client data challenges, and helping them explore how the platform can support their reporting and investment operations. Working closely with an experienced Implementation team of Data Engineers and Analysts, you will help shape client solutions and close high-value deals. Applicants must have 5-8 years work experience in B2B SaaS Sales – preferably within financial or data-driven industries, the proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets & confidence working with data concepts and technical products (you don’t need to be an Engineer, but you should be comfortable explaining what the product does).

Duties
  • Identify and engage decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Data) at Investment firms.
  • Establish trust quickly through discovery calls and relationship-building.
  • Understand client data and reporting challenges and match them with product’s capabilities.
  • Work with the Implementation team to shape and present tailored solutions.
  • Manage a mix of long-lead enterprise opportunities and shorter sales cycles.
  • Maintain and grow your sales pipeline using our existing sales process, CRM, and proven playbook, while refining and improving as needed.
  • Facilitate smooth introductions and knowledge transfer to the Implementation team by communicating requirements, challenges and expectations gathered during sales/discovery to ensure seamless handover.
  • Provide feedback internally on competitors, threats and opportunities encountered.
Requirements
  • 5–8 Years’ experience in B2B SaaS Sales (preferably within financial or data-driven industries).
  • Proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Experience working with senior technical or business stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Ops/Data).
  • Strong listening and questioning skills—able to lead a conversation, not just pitch.
  • Confidence working with data concepts and technical products (you don’t need to be an Engineer, but you should be comfortable explaining what the product does).
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with both internal and external teams.
Advantageous
  • Familiarity with Excel-based or API-driven tools.
  • Experience or networks in the Investment, Asset Management, or Financial Services space.
