Qualifications

Job Title: ROC Operator

Job Description: Monitoring the WTG operation status in SA, conducting data analysis, providing operation reports and improvement solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understanding the Company's Management System and participating in the ROC management system building.
  • Completing the ROC operation and maintenance processes and work procedures.
  • Shift worker responsible for 24‑hour remote monitoring, unit failure notification, failure analysis and remote reset.
  • Providing quality failure analysis and an optimized solution to faults.
  • Collecting and analysing unit operation data and compiling operation reports.
  • Completing the collection and feedback of unit operation data before the 25th of each month.
  • Completing the monthly wind farm operation report before the 10th of each month.
  • Responsible for the wind farm Energy Management Platform (EMP), wind power prediction system, VSG/VMP reactive power control system, and other technical support and problem docking.
  • Ensuring stable operation of each system and providing technical support for issues.
  • Completing other tasks assigned by leaders.
  • Meeting deadlines, complying with HSE requirements, finding and reporting hazards, reporting HSE incidents in a timely and truthful manner, and participating in activities organized by the department and GWI HSE.
Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma and above, major in Engineering or related field.
  • Language: English; preferably fluent in a second language.
  • Years of Experience: 1–3 years in electricity, thermal energy, fuel gas, hydraulic power production and supply industries.
  • Knowledge & Skills: Major in Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, and Automation; skilled in information collection, planning and documentation; skilled in failure analysis and feedback reporting; familiar with basic monitoring system concepts; good command of Microsoft Office suites.
