Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled RF Technician to join our team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of RF equipment on various sites. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain RF equipment and related site infrastructure according to project specifications.

• Conduct site surveys, signal testing, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing to ensure optimal network performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve RF issues during and post-installation phases.

• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations, especially when working at heights.

• Document installation and testing activities accurately and report findings to the project management team.

• Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and guidelines.

Requirements

Competencies and Skills

• Proven experience (3-5 years) in RF installation and testing with a strong technical knowledge of telecom networks.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive PIM testing and interpret results effectively.

• Proficient in the use of RF test equipment and tools.
