Job Purpose

The Reward Specialist will support the organisation’s remuneration strategy and processes through effective remuneration administration and management practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR to identify and propose total reward solutions to attract and retain employees.
  • Manage market survey submissions and data analysis.
  • Analyze remuneration and benefits, reporting on internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Recommend changes to improve the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation practices.
  • Manage and review the Group’s employee remuneration and benefits system, including post-mergers and acquisitions.
  • Maintain fair pay rates across the Group.
  • Participate in year-end pay, benefits review, and bonus cycles.
  • Suggest corrective actions for compensation issues.
  • Manage medical aid and disability funds, working with brokers to enhance employee benefits.
  • Assist in selecting third-party HR service providers.
  • Manage vendors and service level agreements.
  • Perform audits for compliance.
  • Administer the Group’s profit share programme.
  • Lead projects related to compensation and benefits.
  • Provide information for external audits and annual reports.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Relevant business degree.
