Job summary

Amazon Commercial Services (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd invites applications for a Retail Vendor Manager Intern position for 2027. Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program with graduation date Q1 2027 or a 2026 graduate.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication.
• Available to complete a full-time 12-month internship.

Responsibilities

• Work backwards from the customer, identifying inputs to grow Amazon's most strategic brands and improve their performance within a retail category.
• Support vendor managers in providing a suite of services designed to help brands succeed, collaborating with cross-functional teams including in-stock and marketing.
• Develop analytical and problem-solving skills by collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to drive category performance.
• Build an understanding of customer pain points, requirements, and potential value across retail, advertising, and merchant services.
• Identify target accounts using market data and industry intelligence to support business growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, services, processes, systems, and tools across the business.
• Work with different parts of the Amazon business to implement improvement projects, including category teams, product teams, and technical support teams.
