Job Description

As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily store functions across all departments, ensuring operational efficiency, and achieving sales targets. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operations of all store departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Implement policies and procedures aimed at minimizing stock loss and enhancing inventory control.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to boost store sales.
  • Recruit, train, and develop store employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive deals and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Allocate budgets and manage store finances to optimize profitability.
  • Evaluate sales reports, analyse customer feedback, and implement changes to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and implement new strategies to increase store footfall and attract new customers.
  • Ensure high standards of store presentation, product quality, and customer service.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies, adjusting business plans as needed.
  • Set sales targets for the sales team and regularly review performance.
  • Oversee HR functions, including staff management and disciplinary procedures.
  • Lead and mentor assistant managers, developing their leadership skills and capabilities.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration among store staff and management.
Minimum Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail Management experience
  • Strong Leadership and communication skills
