About the Role

Our client, a well-known retailer, is seeking a proactive and organized Retail Merchandising Assistant to support the visual merchandising and inventory flow for their store in Upington, Northern Cape. This role is essential for ensuring that products are displayed attractively and are readily available to customers, directly contributing to the sales and overall shopping experience. You will assist the Visual Merchandiser and Store Manager in implementing display strategies, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the store's aesthetic aligns with brand standards. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, possesses a good eye for detail, and is eager to learn about visual merchandising and retail operations in Upington, Northern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of in-store displays and visual merchandising elements.
• Ensure products are correctly priced, tagged, and displayed according to merchandising guidelines.
• Support inventory management processes, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Monitor stock levels on the sales floor and replenish as needed.
• Assist with promotional activities and special events by preparing display areas.
• Communicate with the visual merchandising team regarding display needs and product availability.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards in all visual presentations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Visual Merchandiser.
