Job summary

Managed People Solutions is looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be placed at various retail stores in Southern Suburbs Western Cape, where they will be responsible for merchandising products and ensuring that stores are maintained according to company standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 months’ merchandising experience in FMCG, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• At least 12 months’ merchandising experience in FMCG.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers including store managers and shoppers.
• Count and stock according to SOP and replenish shelves.
• Merchandise products and maintain store displays per SOP.
• Check product quality, price tags and stock rotation.
• Record merchandising activities and complete required documents.
• Identify opportunities for additional displays and merchandising space.
