Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Experience
Drive sales performance and achieve store targets. Deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Norman Goodfellows brand. Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism. - Operations & Compliance
Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, liquor licensing, health & safety, and legal requirements. Manage stock control, ordering, receiving, and shrinkage management. Ensure store presentation, merchandising, and promotional displays meet company standards. - Team Leadership
Recruit, train, motivate, and manage store staff. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence. - Financial & Reporting
Manage budgets, expenses, and cost control. Analyse sales data and prepare reports for management. Drive profitability through effective resource allocation and cost management.

Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (Tertiary qualification in Retail / Business Management advantageous).
- Minimum 3–5 years’ retail management experience, preferably in liquor, FMCG, or premium lifestyle retail.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and managing high-performing teams.
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
