The Retail Key Accounts Manager will support the development and management of efficient and effective relationships with key accounts, specifically across all major retailers.
The role will ensure that customer requests, inquiries, returns, and complaints are resolved timeously.
It will also assist in the execution of Vector Logistics' Retail Key Account Management framework and contribute to the company's strategic, financial, and commercial growth objectives.
Having a background in Retail will be highly advantageous.
Support the development and strengthening of relationships with key accounts across all major retailers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Assist in driving the Retail Key Account Management framework in line with Vector Logistics' commercial strategy.
Contribute to building a viable commercial model for the business through sound account management practices.
Provide input and support for new and existing product development to drive growth.
Collaborate with stakeholders on the implementation of various business development initiatives.
Ensure that commercial best practices are supported and maintained within the organization.
Assist with sales order creation and management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and optimization for key accounts.
Ensure availability of accurate and timely customer and sales information.
Support operational excellence and continuous improvement across key account processes, systems, and practices.
Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
Help manage cost drivers, mitigate financial risk, and resolve variances and discrepancies effectively.
Ensure adherence to operational and financial frameworks, processes, standards, and controls.
Bachelor's Degree (3 years) / NQF Level 7 (Essential).
Up to 4 years of experience in operational execution and trade relationship management.
Experience in sales and trade execution.
Strong negotiation and collaborative skills.
Exposure to developing and leading teams will be advantageous.
Robust IT skills with SAP experience.
A background in logistics is ideal.
Ability to build and manage relationships with buying groups and key stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate internally and externally to achieve favourable OTIF outcomes.
