Job summary

The Building Company is seeking a General Assistant at the Ermelo store to support daily operations within the BUCO unit. You will assist customers with orders, help load and unload vehicles, stock the yard, and ensure vehicle cleanliness while upholding company values in a retail setting.

The role requires Grade 12 and product knowledge; strong customer service skills are preferred to support both customers and suppliers in a busy environment.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent.
Strong product knowledge of building materials preferred.
Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with orders.
Assist with loading and offloading of vehicles.
Pack yard stock items.
Cleaning and safekeeping of vehicles.
Provide assistance to customers and suppliers.
