SITE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION EXPERIENCE IN PETROLEUM and A RETAIL ENVIRONMENT and A QUICK SERVICE RESTAURANT is ESSENTIALThere are a minimum of 80 staff members per site overseen by a SITE MANAGER.RESPONSIBILITYSite Managers are required to dedicate their full time and attention to the successful and profitable day to day operational and administrative running of the business.Site Managers are not allowed have an interest in any other business and have to sign a restraint of tradeSite Managers are required to sign as surety for all legal documents including Franchise Agreements and are appointed Franchisees or Dealers.Site Managers have to always act in the best interest of the company and protect and promote the business.Site Managers are required to undergo any nominated training as and when needed to give them the necessary skill set and understanding to successfully run the business.Site Managers have the highest authority on site, and report to Senior Directors on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as needed, AND with regards to operational and financial performance of the business, to the Executive committee.Site Managers have access to the Bank account, and sole responsibility to authorise payments, debit order instructions, and monitor all movements in the bank account.Daily, Weekly, Monthly stock controls and stock takesControl of all cash, stock, equipment, HR and other resources on site.Daily, weekly and monthly capturing and reconciliation on Swift.Margin controlA TYPICAL DAY would entail....

Be on site every day, school and public holidays etc, no overtimeStart with early day shift, spend time in all areas of the business.Customer interactionCash Ups oversight after every shift end.Staff Shift RostersStock orders.Fraud preventionOTHER RESPONSIBILITIESHR, all aspects, no HR department on site.Motivation and discipline of staff in accordance with the Company's Disciplinary Code and Procedure.HSEQ, all compliances in cooperation with consultants.Payroll, and incentives, including all aspects in cooperation with the bookkeeper and admin assistant.Maintenance.Marketing.Insurance claimspliance with local legislation, licences etcProvident Fund and Union contribution administration through Payroll.Disciplinary action, and preparation and attendance at CCMA and DRC.Meetings and negotiations with Union Officials and other Union RepresentativesSupplier relationships built up and maintained.Liaise with Franchisors regarding requirements, compliances, campaigns, revamps etc.Oversee building, alterations, upgrades and revamp projects.Ensure margins and profitability targets are met and maintained.Take part in company campaigns and evaluations.To enforce all required standards e.g. service, quality, health, hygiene etc through training, management and good leadership.QUALITIES OF A PARTNERHonesty and IntegrityAccountabilityOwnershipResilienceJack of all tradesFinancial understandingInitiativeConsistencyDedicationStrategicDecisiveAdaptable
